Will you continue to shop or go back to old habits? or will you get necessities at discount stores still and other products wherever?
anyone seen any consumer surveys which answer this question?

General economic theory states that people will shop for the lowest priced good, granted they are comparable in quality to other similar products. I find most discount items are within a reasonable amount of quality to their more expensive counterparts, but regardless…..YES, people will continue shopping at discount stores…now and forever.
Cynthia:I dunno… I’m always on the lookout for a good deal, so it doesn’t matter to me if it’s at a discount store or not. Sometimes those discount stores aren’t so hot. The stuff’s cheap, but also cheaply made. You get what you pay for. You can get good deals even at department stores. Did you ever do the survey at the bottom of your JCPenney bill? There’s a website… Do it and you’ll get 15% off the next purchase… I’m always on the lookout for that kind of thing.
